The 2007 Recognition Awards, including the Broker of the Year, the Brendan McCarthy Memorial Award, and the Rising Start Award will be given at the GWCAR Annual Commercial Awards Dinner held Wednesday, April 30, 2008, at The Four Seasons Hotel, Washington, DC.
Broker of the Year (the association's highest honor!)
The Nominee must meet minimum qualifications for Multi-Million Dollar Leasing Club and/or Sales Club award. Nominee has displayed leadership qualities within GWCAR, involved in community service and participated in the commercial real estate industry in 2007.
Brendan McCarthy Award
This award is intended to recognize the GWCAR member who best personifies the selfless qualities closely identified with the life and
career of Brendan McCarthy. Candidates will be selected for demonstrating those same qualities of unselfishness, caring and giving
of oneself to help others.
Rising Star Award
The Rising Star Award is for members that have been in the industry for five years or less. Applicants must meet minimum qualifications for Multi-Million Dollar Leasing Club and/or Sales Club award AND have been in the business for no more than five years. Applicants should list accomplishments over past five years and have a letter of reference from at least one senior member of his or her firm.
