Kerri Mulligan, of Cassidy & Pinkard, and Gary Cook, of Charles E. Smith Commercial Realty, were named winners of the 2005 Greater Washington Commercial Association of REALTORS^® (GWCAR) Rising Star Award at a ceremony on Thursday, March 23, 2006 at the Four Seasons in Georgetown.

Kerri Mulligan joined Cassidy & Pinkard only three years ago and began working for prominent clients in the Washington Metro area almost immediately. She has worked with both tenant and landlord accounts, including clients such as World Bank, Morgan Stanley, and Prudential Real Estate Investors. She is active in several professional associations, and in a variety of activities including Cassidy & Pinkard's annual Race for Hope to benefit brain tumor research.

Gary Cook began his real estate career with the retail division of Charles E. Smith Commercial Realty in August 2002. By the end of his first year, he had closed deals valued at over $25 million, including his work on several retail outlets on the campus of George Washington University. An active member of several GWCAR committees, Cook is also actively involved in the community, working with various Catholic charities and St. Ann's Home for Children.
