2003 GWCAR Committees - Get Involved!

Take advantage of one of the many opportunities to get more involved in GWCAR by joining one of the following committees:

Awards Dinner
Volunteers help create the rules and regulations for the Annual Multi-Million Dollar Club Awards. Committee members review applications and determine award winners.

Editorial Advisory Board
Members help plan the content of GWCAR's quarterly newsletter, Commercial Broker Quarterly, and also help secure sponsors for the publication and GWCAR's web site, www.gwcar.org.

Education
Provide guidance on GWCAR educational offerings and help develop classes.

Expo
Volunteers help to secure exhibitors and plan this event that highlights development in Montgomery, Frederick and Prince George's Counties.

Golf Outing
Volunteers help pick the course, design the format of the outing and secure sponsors for this event.

Public Policy
The committee works with the joint GCAAR public policy committee on issues that affect commercial real estate. (Separate application is needed. Contact Meredith Weisel at mweisel@gcaar.com.)

RealTOUR
Volunteers select a different area of DC in which to hold a walking tour highlighting new and existing development. Committee members help plan the event, produce a useful resource book and serve as tour guides.

State of the Market
Volunteers help secure sponsors and speakers for this one-day event. They also put together a comprehensive set of statistics that outlines the "state of the market."
