GWCAR Annual Awards Dinner Recognizes Area's Top Producers

GWCAR's Annual Awards Dinner, held April 18th at the Mayflower Hotel, attracted nearly 400 people, including commercial brokers, members of the media, and others interested in seeing the Washington area's top-producing brokers recognized for their outstanding performance.

The awards were given for individual sales and leasing performance and dedication to the community and the industry.

"We are proud to recognize this year's winners for their dedication to the profession," said Susan Thomas, president of GWCAR. "Not only did they achieve great things in serving their clients, they also demonstrated excellence in serving our community."

William J. Prutting, Jr. of CB Richard Ellis and 1999 GWCAR President was honored as the REALTOR® of the Year for his business achievements, his commitment to GWCAR, and his active involvement in the community.

Patrick Cassidy of Cassidy & Pinkard received the Brendan McCarthy Award for his commitment to mentoring other REALTORS^® and his long-term involvement in the community.
