GWCAR Members Raise Money To Help Brain Tumor Society

The Cassidy & Pinkard 4th Annual Brain Tumor Society 5K Run & Walk, held on Sunday, April 22, 2001, succeeded in raising over $250,000 to benefit brain tumor research. Race day was beautiful and approximately 3,000 participants and supporters gathered on Freedom Plaza at 14th and Pennsylvania Avenue to help find a cure for brain tumors.

The commercial real estate community and many other friends of Pat Cassidy's joined in support of this local fundraising effort to support The Brain Tumor Society, (TBTS). Brain tumor research is critically under funded.
