Studley Recently Implements 'Must-Join GWCAR' Policy

Studley recently implemented a policy that requires all mid- and senior-level professionals of our Washington-area offices to be members of GWCAR. Our firm subsidizes the cost of membership. This is new for us, but an important step that was supported by everyone involved.

GWCAR is the association for our industry and is really the only organization that looks out for our interests on a number of fronts where we, as individuals or as firms, have neither the expertise, capacity, or time to focus our attention.

This includes, most importantly, legislative issues before the local and national governments that effect not only brokerage, but the interests of our clients. GWCAR also provides important forums for people in our industry to get together and learn more about the markets and trends affecting all of us.

Finally, the annual awards dinner is a highlight for the industry and allows us to recognize the best of what we do.

For all these reasons, we believed that membership in GWCAR was important for our professionals to support and for our company to support along with them.
