MAR Sees GWCAR As Local Board
MD State Association Follows Lead of VAR Decision

The Maryland Association of REALTORS^® (MAR) recently approved that it will recognize GWCAR as a local association on its Board of Directors, giving it the same voting rights as the other 16 local associations located throughout the state.

This follows a move by the Virginia Association of REALTORS^® (VAR) effective January 1, 2004 to also recognize GWCAR as a local association.

GWCAR is the only specifically commercially-oriented local association in both Maryland & Virginia and is the sixth largest commercial board within the National Association of REALTORS^® (NAR) worldwide structure.
